Manassas Landing – A Joint Venture Between Lerner Enterprises and the City of Manassas
Since moving to the City of Manassas in 2006, Land Design Consultants, Inc. (LDC) has been eager to work with City officials in all facets of land development and planning within the City limits. When LDC learned of an opportunity to develop an approximately 60-acre site near the Manassas Regional Airport, Route 28 and Route 234 Bypass, LDC immediately contacted the City to learn more.
LDC’s hard work and constant follow up paid off by being awarded a contract by Lerner Enterprises to provide engineering, planning and surveying services to the project now known as Manassas Landing. Manassas Landing is a joint venture between the City of Manassas, who owns the property, and Lerner Enterprises, who will be developing the property. Lerner plans to develop this property with approximately 1,300,000 square feet of Class “A” office, retail and residential uses that will create a 24-hour mixed-use development in the City. Manassas Landing is designed to act as a transition between the City’s suburban areas and Historic Downtown.
LDC is excited about the potential for this area and is pleased to be working with both the City of Manassas and Lerner Enterprises.
