Glenkirk Estates

Glenkirk Estates, located in Gainesville, VA is a large planned community which proposed the construction of 575 single-family houses.  This site is currently being developed by Drees Homes. 

LDC has provided a variety of engineering and surveying services within the development.  Specifically, LDC has provided Drees with stakeout services as well as lot grading plans and house matrices. 

Recently, LDC was awarded a contract to provide engineering and surveying services to the final two sections.  LDC is currently processing subdivision plans for Sections 8 and 9, consisting of approximately 140 houses.  As part of this, LDC is performing detailed utility, road and stormwater management designs. 

In conjunction with these plans, LDC is also processing a separate Public Improvement Plan for the two Stormwater Management/Best Management Practices facilities.
