Each year, LDC partners with Evergreene Homes on nearly 100 projects. We are proud of this relationship and excited to announce that Fairfax County has awarded us with Land Conservation Awards in Tree Planting and Preservation!
Our combined efforts on the Reserve at Oakview Community exceeded the Tree Preservation Target by 14,674 sq. ft. and the 10-yr. Tree Canopy Requirement by 22,733 sq. ft. Additionally, the necessary work for meeting storm-water management requirements was performed by hand, allowing for the additional preservation of a 58” Champion Oak!
LDC is humbled to receive these awards alongside Evergreene Homes, and will continue to encourage the preservation of natural resources and the greater environment we all share.
